Trout and Salmon Fishing
At The Oak
Orleans County...Home of the King
Western Lake Ontario is fantastic salmon and steelhead water due to the structure and currents found here. The fish rich Oak Orchard area has proven to be the most dependable salmon and steelhead port on Lake Ontario. An added bonus of the Oak Orchard area is calmer water. Because of the location of this port in relation to the prevailing winds and the width of the lake here we do not experience rough seas very often. Even on very windy days this area often enjoys much more comfortable fishing conditions than areas further down wind.
